What are YouTube Ads?

Okay, What are YouTube Ads? And should I be doing them? If you haven’t heard of YouTube than click here to check it out. If you watch a few videos you will soon come across a video Ad.

Around the world people, on average, are watching more videos on YouTube than television. And unlike the TV commercials where you can get up and make a coffee, YouTube Ads are so short that people actually watch them. You can also choose the type of Audience you want to be targeting, instead of putting you Ad out in front of everyone, you simply define the Audience that matches your ideal customer.

YouTube Ads vs TV Ads

Unlike the TV commercials, you can track how many people watched your whole Ad, skipped your Ad and how many clicked on your Ad. You can dive even deeper to track what they did after clicking on your Ad, did they;

  • Submit a contact form on your website,
  • Sign Up to your newsletter,
  • Add a product to your shopping cart,
  • Purchase anything, if so, how much they spend
  • Click on your phone number to call you,
  • Create an account on your site,
  • Watch a video on your site,
  • And the list goes on.

Compared to TV commercials, YouTube Ads are extremely affordable and you get real-time insights and data.
